At a time when our Western societies are becoming increasingly aware of the challenges posed by ecological issues, I’d like, after a brief introduction, to invite you to reflect together on the following topics:
– Which elements of current Larp practice have the highest ecological footprint (in terms of both energy consumption and pollution)?
– What individual and collective means (as organizers / associations / federations) do we have to reduce these impacts?
– Projection/Futurology: If, following the most alarmist projections, our societies were to embark on the path of degrowth & energy frugality, what place would be left for leisure activities, and in Larp? Would it disappear completely, or would it survive, and if so, in what form? What day would you like to host this session?
