(In French)Who hasn’t experienced a moment of disagreement between their personal off-game values and those of their in-game character? How often are we tempted to recreate democracy in a feudal society? To play a heretic in a religious world?

Role-playing gives us the opportunity to project ourselves into alternative realities. Yet our contemporary values often get in the way of our decisions and interpretations. In this talk, we’ll look at the causes of this confusion, and suggest some ways of dealing with it.
