Playing for Resilience: Building Communities and Hope in Palestine through LARP

(En anglais) This speech explores the journey of building communities, hope, and resilience in Palestine through Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) and games. It reflects on the struggles faced in creating and sustaining such a community—challenges of resources, recognition, and the realities of working under constant social and political pressures.

The talk highlights how, despite these obstacles, a vibrant and inclusive community was established where youth and families could come together to play, imagine, and reconnect. It also examines the social impact of these events, from empowering individuals to express themselves and cope with difficult realities, to fostering solidarity, creativity, and joy within communities.

Most importantly, the speech demonstrates how these initiatives have helped many people find a sense of belonging and healing, with an impact that continues to resonate beyond each event—leaving lasting marks of resilience and hope.
